Bitchin Sauce Recipe

Bitchin’ Sauce is a delicious, versatile, and easy to make Tabasco infused Mayo based sauce. It’s great for a party, for dipping, or as a spread. This recipe uses fresh Tabasco peppers but if you don’t have access to them, then chopped pickled peppers will work fine.

What is a Bitchin’ Sauce?

Bitchin’ sauce is an all purpose barbecue sauce. But not the kind you’ll find at the store; this is the good stuff! I’ve been modifying my sauce recipes for sometime now, always wondering why sauces tasted great when I was grilling beef ribs, chicken or pork chops, but they never tasted as good with chicken wings.

Bitchin Sauce Ingredients

  • 3-4 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (or to taste)

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, add the olive oil.
  • When hot, add the onions and cook until they are soft and translucent.
  • Add the garlic and cook for another minute or two.
  • Add the tomatoes, vinegar and spices and simmer for about 15 minutes until the tomatoes have broken down and formed a chunky sauce.

Tips

If you want to make your bitchin’ sauce recipe better, there are a few steps you can take:

  • First, make sure you’re using the right ingredients. If you’re using canned tomatoes or pre-made paste, there’s no need to add extra or salt. Just use what’s already there!
  • Don’t forget about your spices! They’re a big part of what makes this dish so special—and they really help balance out all those rich flavors.
  • Try adding more garlic powder if you think it needs more punch, or if it feels like there aren’t enough herbs (we think rosemary would be great here), sprinkle some fresh rosemary over the top before cooking so that its flavor can permeate all throughout everything else as well!

Storage

Bitchin’ sauce is best when it’s fresh and homemade, but you can also store it in the fridge for up to a week. Just like you would with any other condiment, cover the top of your sauce with plastic wrap, then store it in an airtight container.

You’ll want to make sure that the container is sealed tightly and that there are no leaks or gaps around the lid. If there are any leaks, you’ll need to throw out your sauce because bacteria will start growing pretty quickly on it.

Reheating

If you’re looking to reheat your dish, look no further. We’ve got a few tips for you:

  • If you have time, let the sauce sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before putting it in the microwave. This will allow the sauce to warm up gradually and prevent it from cooling too quickly.
  • Microwave on HIGH power for 1 minute, then stir well and microwave again on HIGH power for another minute. You may need to repeat this process several times until the sauce reaches your desired temperature.

Health Benefits

Bitchin’ Sauce is a great way to get your kids excited about eating vegetables. It’s like a sweet and sour sauce that kids love, but with the added benefit of being loaded with vitamins and minerals!

Not only is Bitchin’ Sauce good for you, but it’s also good for kids.

  • It helps them get the iron they need for brain development!
  • It also contains vitamin A which is important for healthy vision and immune function.
  • This Sauce boosts their immune system because it contains lots of vitamin C, which helps fight off bacterial infections. Vitamin C is also important for maintaining healthy skin, bones, muscles, and nerves (and is essential for fighting colds).
  • The calcium in the Sauce helps build strong bones and teeth by keeping them strong, so they don’t break easily when kids fall down or get hit by someone else falling on them from behind!
  • The potassium in the Sauce helps keep blood pressure low while also helping regulate heart rate, so kids feel calm and relaxed after eating it, like munching on potato chips at the movie theater.
